We are honored to welcome Chef Christophe Renou, recently crowned MOF 2015, with us at l’École Brooklyn. He will be teaching an exciting new class called “Chocolate Art.” During this course, you will enter a purely artistic world where the sole material is "chocolate in all of its forms." You will learn specific techniques to create unique pieces with contemporary flair and design. In addition, you will explore the start to finish process of designing and making a custom showpiece. You will also understand and implement the basis of design light and elegant forms.

Deepen your knowledge of drawing, movement and proportions to help design a well-balanced piece, along with various techniques to obtain results and effects that are surprisingly straight forward and sophisticated. These techniques include casting, cutting, molding, spraying, and different styles of finishing (aged, dull, etc.)
Take this opportunity to learn from Chef Christophe Renou in a small and intimate setting and discover the creative secrets of chocolate art from a master in the field.
