2014 James Beard Awards

 

The James Beard Foundation's mission is to celebrate, nurture, and honor America's diverse culinary heritage through programs that educate and inspire.

The JBF presented on May 5th the 24th annual James Beard Awards, honoring the best of the best of the culinary's world.
Valrhona, as a sponsor, was proud to present pastry creations by our two Ecole du Grand Chocolat Pastry Chefs USA (Sarah Kosikowski and Derek Poirier) along with Chefs Joe Murphy -Jean Georges, NYC and Ghaya F.Oliveira - Boulud, NYC (left picture).

Congratulations to Chef Dominique Ansel who won the Outstanding Pastry Chef Awards (right picture, with our two Ecole du Grand Chocolat Pastry Chefs USA (Sarah Kosikowski and Derek Poirier) as well as all the nominees!
